Vladamir Radosavljevic - Bow Maker

Vladamir Radosavljevic, born in Belgrade, Serbia started with violin lessons at the age of five and played and studied actively until 1993 when he moved to USA. He began rehairing bows in 1997 and shortly thereafter started to do repairs for many shops in New York and Connecticut.
Inspired by his brother, a concert violinist Dragan Radosavljevic, Vladamir made his first bow under supervision of his friend and teacher Carlos Del Picchia in 1999. Making the bows to the needs and taste of many different players has become the focus of his life.


Horacio Pineiro - Violin Maker & Restorer

Horacio Pineiro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied in the school of Arts and Crafts for the wood in Buenos Aires. Pineiro bagan working on stringed instruments at the age of fourteen under Franco Ponza. His workmanship was perfected with Pierre Gaggini in France. He emigrated to the United States in 1977 to work for Jacques Francais and worked for the firm for fourteen years. He was involved in the restoration on some of the most important and valuable instruments available. Currently, he is established in his own shop in New York where he is engaged in making new instruments and restoration of aol masters' works.


Paul Noulet - Violin Maker

Paul Noulet is a French born luthier. Mr. Noulet studied his craft at the Chicago School of Violin Making where he graduated in 1998. Since then he has worked at the workshops of Jean-Frederic Schmitt, William Harris Lee, Kenneth Stein, Peter Yang, Peter Benedek and Bernard Sabatier. In addition, he has worked in collaboration with Samuel Casco in Sweden. Mr Noulet opened his own workshop in January 2006.

 


Ciro Caliendo - Violin Maker

Ciro Caliendo, whose father Salvatore was a musician and composer, studied the piano, harmony and composition by means of private tuition. He was employed by a credit institution from 1971 to 1998. 1974 saw the start of his association initially with Vincenzo and then with Mariano Annarumma, with whom he restored more than one thousand instruments. He makes bowed instruments using moulds and varnishes from the Annrumma workshop. He alternates between violin making and research and is one of the most qualified experts on southern instruments. He also works as an organizer of musical events, a journalist and a music critic.


Duaiv - Painter & Cellist

Duaiv is a world-renowned artist from France. His artwork has been exhibited in such countries as the United States, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain and Japan. In addition to his exquisite paintings, Duaiv plays and collects cellos. His artwork can be seen at www.duaiv.net.
